We hope your visit will be productive, safe and secure. If during your visit, an emergency occurs, please follow the instructions below.

Safety Precautions

  • Your personal safety is of primary importance. Emergency exits are located around the perimeters of each building. Evacuation maps are also posted throughout the facility.
  • In the event you hear a public address, fire alarm, gas alarm or bullhorn annunciation directing you to evacuate the building, calmly, but immediately, proceed to the nearest exit. Please remain on site until we complete our accountability procedure. Please identify yourself as a visitor during this important process.
  • If during your visit you see an unsafe condition or require emergency assistance, pick up a phone and dial the emergency number located on the phone.
  • Attire: Business casual with closed toed shoes and long pants are required in the facilities. No high heels allowed at SALT facility.

Security Rules

  • Prohibited items: Weapons, alcohol, illegal drugs, and explosives of any sort are prohibited. Cameras, and tape recorders are also banned from the facility unless advance coordination was made with the security office.
  • Escort Requirement: If you are provided an ESCORT REQUIRED visitor badge, please assist us by always staying with your host.
  • Package Inspection: Be aware that perimeter security may require package checks. Please cooperate with the security officer or receptionist as they perform their duties.

Please display your badge at all times on site and return it upon completion of your visit.

Northrop Grumman Corporate Procedure prohibits connecting non-Northrop Grumman equipment such as, but not limited to, laptops, PDAs, removable drives, thumb drives, and personal electronic devices to company computers and networks.

Choices for presenting non-NGC material are either — email the file(s) to your host or — connect your laptop directly to the projector.

Advanced Technology Labs (ATL)

  • ATL facility is 60,000 sq. ft.

Space Auto Line Technologies (SALT)

  • SALT facility is 78,000 sq. ft.
  • ISO-8 cleanroom with ESD flooring and a smart storage/point-of-use material system to minimize kitting bottlenecks

Directions from Washington, D.C:

  1. Get on Baltimore-Washington Pkwy in Prince George's County from New York Ave NW
  2. Follow Baltimore-Washington Pkwy and MD-295 N to W. Nursery Rd in Linthicum Heights. Take the W. Nursery Road exit from MD-295 N
  3. Continue on W. Nursery Rd.
  4. Turn right onto International Dr.
  5. Turn left into the West Quest A parking lot and find available parking.
  6. Reserved parking spots will be available near pole 12 for our event. Please feel free to park in these designated areas.
  7. Proceed to the West Quest A Lobby Entrance to check in with a Northrop Grumman security personal at desk and Northrop Grumman escort.
