Senior Manager, Business Development Operations, U.S. Army Veteran
After my military career, I sought a role that merged my business interests with my dedication to national defense. The Operation IMPACT program at Northrop Grumman offered that perfect blend by connecting me with a high-performing team engaged in mission-critical work. This program provided a robust support system and a clear path for both personal and professional growth.
The journey through Operation IMPACT has been the standout experience, with numerous opportunities along the way. Starting as a business analyst intern, I've advanced to Senior Manager of Business Development Operations over the past decade. Working across all four sectors of the company has given me a broad range of experiences and a deep appreciation for Northrop Grumman's mission and its people.

I chose Operation IMPACT and Northrop Grumman because of their recognition by Forbes as one of the best employers for disabled veterans. After a medical separation from the service, I was concerned about how my disability might impact my career.
However, Operation IMPACT offered comprehensive support—medically, through dedicated health resources, and professionally, with career guidance and management support. This ensured a seamless entry into the corporate workforce. A key highlight of the program is its commitment to prioritizing people, showcasing Northrop Grumman’s dedication to empowering veterans in meaningful careers.

I was familiar with Northrop Grumman and referred to Operation IMPACT by the Wounded Warrior Project.
The standout feature of the program was its exceptional communication; the team guided me through job requisitions, discussed my career goals, and set up introductory calls.
Throughout this process and beyond, I've felt valued, appreciated, and fully supported. Operation IMPACT is an invaluable part of our company, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.

SiAW Program Manager, Advanced Programs, U.S. Army Veteran
Operation IMPACT enabled me to reinvent my career on my own terms after medically retiring from military service, where I could no longer pursue my lifelong dream of aviating. What attracted me to the program, and to Northrop Grumman, was their unwavering support for veterans and commitment to national security.
The program empowered me to continue serving our warfighters by delivering the most advanced technology in the world, while also helping me grow into a Program Manager. The highlight has been being part of a community that understands the experiences of wounded warriors and provides a platform for them to thrive with purpose.
